I was born in 1995 in a little mountain village in the South of France. I grew up surrounded by the smell of ink and linseed oil, both my parents being engravers. I was homeschooled for most of my schooling which gave me time to wander the Pyrenees, with our horse, dogs and sheep, to read quietly for hours, and to become independent. I was also lucky enough to be able to travel to various countries with my mother, and then on my own, which allowed me to discover new cultures and to learn English. I completed my secondary schooling in Belgium, where my family was originally from. A couple of years ago I was accepted at Middlesex University in London where I am now completing my third year as an illustration student. Winning the second prize in the Lanista Partners Ltd competition, then being chosen to illustrate this book is a really promising start to my career, and I would like to thank Mike for the trust he has placed in me. I would also like to thank my family and teachers for their support.
